This General Privacy Policy explains how Art2fund Inc. ("Art2fund," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes personal information in connection with our websites, online stores, school art programs, creative projects, fundraising programs, personal pages, museums, museum shops, galleries, ordering tools, school administration tools, teacher tools, customer support, production coordination, fulfillment coordination, marketing, and related services.
This Policy is intended for website visitors, school and organization contacts, School Coordinators, Teachers, Parents, Buyers, invited viewers, supporters, vendors, business contacts, and other people who interact with Art2fund.
Student Data and children's information are also addressed in the Art2fund Student Data Privacy Policy and, for activation, in the Art2fund Parent Activation Notice. If there is a conflict between this General Privacy Policy and the Student Data Privacy Policy regarding Student Data, children's information, or school-controlled student information, the Student Data Privacy Policy controls for that subject matter.
This Policy applies to personal information processed by Art2fund in connection with the Services, except where a separate privacy notice, student data policy, written agreement, district agreement, data processing agreement, or other legally required notice states otherwise.
This Policy does not replace a Participating Organization's own privacy notices, school policies, district policies, parent communications, FERPA notices, directory information policies, procurement requirements, fundraising approvals, or technology vendor review procedures. Participating Organizations remain responsible for their own legal, policy, and approval obligations.
The personal information Art2fund collects depends on how you interact with us, the Program you participate in, and the features you use.
We may collect names, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, school or organization names, roles, account identifiers, support identifiers, and other information you provide when contacting us, signing up, activating a page, placing an order, requesting support, or participating in a Program.
We may collect information about schools, districts, parent-teacher organizations, parent-teacher associations, nonprofit organizations, businesses, Teachers, School Coordinators, administrators, organization representatives, Program contacts, class information, Program setup, fundraising choices, school gallery settings, payout contacts, tax forms, and related organization information.
In connection with a Program, we may process Artwork, student name, class, school, teacher, QR code, Access Code, activation details, Parent email address, Personal Page data, Museum data, Museum Shop data, Class Gallery data, School Gallery data, order-related information linked to Artwork, support requests, and related identifiers. Student Data is described in more detail in the Art2fund Student Data Privacy Policy.
When a Buyer places an order, we may collect or receive order details, selected Products, quantities, personalization, Product previews, Artwork association, prices, discounts, sales tax, shipping fees, shipping address, billing contact information, email address, order status, delivery status, refund or replacement status, and customer support records.
Payment information entered by a Buyer may be submitted directly to Art2fund's third-party payment processor. Art2fund may provide basic order and transaction information to the payment processor, but Art2fund does not intend to receive or store full payment card details entered directly with the payment processor.
We may collect messages, emails, support requests, chat records, call notes, complaint details, correction requests, deletion requests, privacy requests, order issue reports, refund or replacement requests, and related information needed to respond to you and document the request.
When you visit or use our websites or Services, we may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, session identifiers, log data, security events, and other information used to operate, secure, measure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
Where applicable, we may collect marketing preferences, email preferences, opt-in and opt-out records, campaign source information, ad interaction information, website analytics information, and related information used to manage marketing, measure performance, and honor communication choices.
Art2fund does not intend to collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometric information, financial account credentials, student ID numbers, birth dates, grades, disciplinary records, lunch status, disability information, or other sensitive information unless expressly required for a specific purpose and covered by an appropriate notice or written agreement.
Users and Participating Organizations should not upload, write, submit, or include unnecessary personal information, sensitive information, protected records, third-party content, or unrelated data on Artwork Sheets, pages, support messages, or Program materials.

Art2fund may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, log files, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, maintain sessions, secure accounts and pages, detect misuse, measure performance, understand how users interact with our websites, improve the Services, and support marketing on general website pages where permitted.
We may use analytics providers and marketing technology providers to help us understand website activity and measure advertising performance. Art2fund does not use Student Data for targeted advertising or profiling and does not use Student Data or Student Artist Artwork to train artificial intelligence models.
You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings, device settings, cookie banner, or other tools we make available. Blocking cookies may affect the availability or functionality of certain Services.
Art2fund may send marketing communications to business contacts, school or organization contacts, and other recipients where permitted by applicable law or where the recipient has opted in.
Art2fund will not use a Parent email address linked to a Personal Page or Artwork for general newsletters, unrelated marketing, or unrelated promotional emails unless the recipient separately opts in or Art2fund is otherwise permitted to do so by applicable law.
Buyers who place guest checkout orders may receive order confirmations, payment messages, shipping updates, customer-service messages, refund or replacement messages, and other order-related communications. Opting out of marketing emails will not stop service, order, security, legal, or project administration communications.
Art2fund may share personal information with service providers, partners, and other parties as needed to operate the Services, run Programs, process orders, produce Products, deliver Products, provide support, protect the Services, comply with law, or perform other business and Program-related functions.
Categories of recipients may include:
Art2fund may share print-ready Artwork designs or production files with production partners. Art2fund may share Buyer order details, such as name, shipping address, Product selections, and order information, with production partners, fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, and related service providers as needed to produce and deliver Products.
Art2fund requires service providers that process personal information for Art2fund to use it only for authorized services and to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
Art2fund does not sell personal information for money.
Art2fund does not sell Student Data, does not use Student Data for targeted advertising or profiling, and does not use Student Data or Student Artist Artwork to train artificial intelligence models.
Art2fund may use analytics and marketing technologies on general website pages. In some jurisdictions, certain analytics or advertising activities may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" even if no money is exchanged. Where applicable law gives you opt-out rights, you may exercise those rights by contacting us at privacy@art2fund.com or by using any privacy controls or opt-out mechanisms we make available.
Art2fund's Programs are intended to be organized by Participating Organizations and activated or managed by Parents or legal guardians.
Children under 13 should not create accounts, activate Personal Pages, place orders, or submit personal information to Art2fund without Parent involvement and authorization.
Student Data and children's information are handled as described in this Policy, the Art2fund Student Data Privacy Policy, the Art2fund Parent Activation Notice, and any applicable written agreement with a Participating Organization.
Where a school or district uses Art2fund for an educational purpose and is legally permitted to provide consent on behalf of Parents under COPPA, Art2fund will use the Student Data covered by that school consent only for the educational or school-authorized purpose and not for unrelated commercial purposes. Art2fund may still provide Parent-facing notices and Parent request options where feasible.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. Payment information entered by a Buyer may be submitted directly to the payment processor. Art2fund may receive basic order, transaction, payment status, refund status, billing contact, and fraud-prevention information needed to process and support orders.
Art2fund does not intend to receive or store full payment card details entered directly with the payment processor.
Art2fund uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.
Safeguards may include encrypted connections where appropriate, role-based access controls, authentication protections, internal access limitations, logging and monitoring, backup and recovery controls, service provider review, confidentiality obligations, incident-response procedures, production and support access controls, and operational security reviews.
No online service, school system, email system, payment provider, hosting provider, carrier, production workflow, or internet transmission can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect QR codes, Access Codes, direct links, usernames, passwords, and other access methods.
Art2fund retains personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including Program operation, Personal Page activation, gallery and Museum presentation, Museum Shop operation, Product production, order fulfillment, customer support, Program Proceeds reporting, accounting, tax, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, backups, dispute handling, business administration, and other permitted purposes.
Retention periods may vary by data type and context. For example, order records may be retained longer for fulfillment, refunds, replacements, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and legal compliance. Support records, privacy requests, deletion requests, and issue reports may be retained as needed to document and respond to the request. Security logs and backups may be retained for limited operational, security, and recovery periods.
Where a separate written agreement requires a specific retention, deletion, return, or de-identification period, Art2fund will follow that agreement for the personal information it covers.

To make a privacy request, contact us at privacy@art2fund.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. If your request relates to Student Data, a Student Artist, a Personal Page, a Class Gallery, a School Gallery, or a school-controlled record, we may coordinate with the applicable Participating Organization.
Parents and legal guardians may request access, correction, removal, deactivation, or deletion of Student Data connected with their child's activated Personal Page, Museum, Museum Shop, or related Digital Project Pages, subject to the limits described in the Student Data Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and may ask the individual to verify their identity directly with us, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Certain U.S. state privacy laws may require additional disclosures. Depending on your state and whether the law applies to Art2fund, this section may supplement the rest of this Policy.
In the preceding 12 months, Art2fund may have collected the following categories of personal information, depending on user interaction and Program participation:
We collect and disclose these categories for the business and operational purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, operating Programs, processing orders, producing Products, providing support, securing the Services, communicating with users, complying with law, and working with service providers.

Art2fund does not sell personal information for money. Art2fund does not sell Student Data and does not use Student Data for targeted advertising or profiling.
Where applicable law treats certain general website analytics or advertising technologies as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may exercise applicable opt-out rights by contacting us at privacy@art2fund.com or by using any privacy controls or opt-out mechanisms we make available.
Art2fund does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under applicable state privacy laws unless we provide the required notice and choice.
Art2fund may use De-identified Data or aggregated data for reporting, analytics, service improvement, product improvement, operational planning, quality control, security, business analysis, and similar purposes.
Art2fund will not attempt to re-identify De-identified Data except where necessary to test de-identification methods, investigate security issues, comply with law, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Art2fund Inc. is a United States company, but Art2fund personnel, affiliates, contractors, or service providers may access or process personal information in the United States, the European Union, or other locations where Art2fund or its service providers operate.
Art2fund will protect personal information as described in this Policy regardless of where it is processed, subject to applicable law and written agreements.
The Services may include or rely on third-party services, such as payment processing, production, fulfillment, shipping, tracking, hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, support tools, school websites, carrier websites, or other external services.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, privacy notices, availability, security practices, and processing rules. Art2fund is not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, delays, outages, errors, or acts except to the extent required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
Art2fund may update this General Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions may be posted on the Art2fund website, presented during activation or checkout, emailed to relevant Users, included in Program materials, or otherwise made available through the Services.
The updated Policy will be effective as of the date stated in the updated Policy or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Continued access to or use of the Services after an updated Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated Policy, subject to applicable law.
